Case Study Details

Automation Strategy & Pipeline

Focus

Strategic evaluation, planning and architecture of several automation solutions to streamline new and existing government processes.

Approach

Kuaba initiated the project by assessing candidate processes based on feasibility, complexity, and potential benefits through consultation with stakeholders and analysis of process metrics. This led to the creation of a prioritised automation pipeline, considering dependencies and strategic objectives of the Agency.

Following the assessment, a detailed user design phase was conducted to identify precise requirements. Throughout this process, Kuaba engaged closely with stakeholders to ensure that the design met their needs and was delivered in the most effective format, allowing adaptability to future changes.

Kuaba then architected, developed, tested and deployed multiple unattended automations in line with the pipeline strategy using robotic process automation technology.

Outcome

  • Clear strategy and plan to automate manual tasks
  • Reduced manual work, improved efficiency and reduced errors
  • Adoption of automation best practice architecture
