Reducing the manual burden of high volume, rules-based extraction, manipulation & entry of data for NDIS services.
Approach
The project began with mapping out the existing process in detail including the inputs, outputs and required touch points for human interaction and verification.
Kuaba developed an attended automation solution that filtered incoming emails to store invoices, extracted invoice data and line items, then ran matching, transformation and analysis on the extracted data to upload into accounting software.
This involved the configuration of robotic process automation infrastructure and working with the CRM provider to design and create APIs to facilitate automation.
Outcome
- Drastically reduced processing time by 95%
- Reduced errors and turnaround of service issues
- Increased capacity allowing team members to focus on value adding activities
